Special to The Globe

— Branch No. 366 of the National Association of Letter Carriers along with the National Rural Letter Carriers Association, the American Postal Workers Union and the U.S. Postal Service would like to thank all the area communities that participated in the 2013 Stamp Out Hunger food drive. We are proud to hold this event annually. This was our 21st year for helping local community food banks. The food donated all stays local.

Branch No. 366 represents Joplin, Carthage, Carterville, El Dorado Springs, Lamar, Neosho, Nevada and Webb City. Rural carriers from Carl Junction, Goodman, Seneca, Diamond, Oronogo and Granby also participated. We are so thankful for their participation and contribution to their communities.

We will be looking forward to our next food drive in May 2014.

We would like to thank the area businesses that allowed us to advertise at their places of business by putting up signage.
