Oh God, help those who are hungry. When I have plenty of food, help me to remember those who don’t. My house is warm, help me to remember those that are homeless. When I have work, help me to remember those who have been laid off, without work. For those that are in pain and suffering, help me to remember my good health and thank God daily.
Make me concerned enough to help when I see someone in need and suffering. Help me to destroy my complacency, that I will have more compassion for those who cry out for help.
