Some people say you should think for yourself. Don’t they know Rush Limbaugh is supposed to do their thinking for them?

I defend Rush. He isn’t the world’s biggest liar; other liars are even bigger than he is.

The consumer price index that measures inflation says there was no inflation in 2009. If the Ben Bernanke bank prints enough electronic greenies to replace the $9 trillion the economy lost in 2008 instead of enough to resurrect the dead horse, presto inflation.

The CPI doesn’t measure the rising cost of food, it’s the law. So grandpa won’t see an increase in his Social Security check next year.

Obama proposes sending him a $250 check. The compassionate carpetbaggers suggest grandpa should try eating less, even though Scarlett O’Hara vowed she would never go hungry again. The compassionate aristocrats have proposed a 32 percent tax cut for corrupt corporate executives (the robber barons) and Rush Limbaugh.

We can’t borrow the money for it; Bush borrowed it all. If we print it, presto inflation. We could scrap the military and order everyone to buy a gun to defend the country. Rush needs the tax cut. After his midnight snack comes the 2 a.m. feeding.

If the rich didn’t hide their money in tax shelters and offshore banks, we might be able to give them a tax cut without the printing.

Frankly my dear, the middle class is fed up with having to carry poor Republicans, and the rich ones too!
