Voices: Brainwash

Have you newsprint editors noticed? The “lame-stream” TV entertainment and news media are blitzing us with not-so-subtle infomercials for the cabalistic Democratic-sponsored health care reform bill. TV programs “Law and Order,” “CSI Miami,” “60 Minutes,” “20/20” and numerous “hospital” dramas have inserted scenes depicting low-income, often minority persons, in dire need of health care insurance. It’s a crude form of subliminal brainwashing.

In one of the most ancient businesses of civilization, it’s called pandering (i.e., pimping). Pals of the liberal media in our “public-be-damned” Democrat Congress and White House are in bed with these propagandists. Would that these “shows” might occasionally dramatize the millions of healthy young people worrying that they are doomed to “pay the piper” for the impending tax catastrophe.
