Voices: Integrity and work ethic

JOPLIN, Mo. — I am writing this letter in support of William “Bill” White. He has donated countless hours as past president of the Joplin Swim Team, where I was fortunate to serve on the board of directors with him for the last four years.

He has also been a teacher at McAuley Catholic High School, donating his time teaching the students there and not drawing a salary from the financially strapped school. He gave them access to a very fine teacher with no extra cost. He has been very involved in Scouting for several years as well. I can personally vouch for the integrity and work ethic of Mr. White. He is someone who we need to send to Jefferson City, who will have the best interest of the middle-class working families of Southwest Missouri in mind every time he casts a vote. Remember to fully investigate the candidates before casting your vote.
