Washington is not broken, it is in gridlock.

The truth of the matter is that Rush and the other spineless bigots are still stuck in the pre-civil rights era.
All the preceding presidents were rich, white dudes (some slave owners or sympathizers to oppression and forced servitude). So there is this sense of entitlement that nobody should be the president unless he be a white, rich dude.
No matter what this president proposes, they will say no. Even if it’s one of their own ideas.
