Our church with a primary outreach to all people wants to thank David Ansley, (former Missouri Southern State University Board of Governors member) for making the right decision to take time to think about the consequences of his “slip of the tongue.” This was the right and responsible thing to do.
We also want to share our admiration to the student group promoting equality for all people and the faculty adviser for taking a public stand.
Let’s hope this begins dialogue, and not hatred, but true freedoms for all people of our community.
