Your View: Grace and goodness

JOPLIN, Mo. — My wife and I are praying for our city and county officials, salaried and volunteer, every day but more so at this time of year. We pray especially for our policemen, firemen and public works folks that they have a safe and blessed Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Having been a teacher for almost 40 years, I pray for all our school administrators and teachers as well. Of course, if we’re praying for them we are at the same time giving thanks for all they do for our city and county. May God grant them his grace and goodness.
