LAMAR, Mo. —
I am really enjoying the fanatical antics of left-wing groups in America weeping, wailing and gnashing their teeth over guns and gun control.
If one didn’t know better, one might think these groups didn’t understand why the Founding Fathers included the Second Amendment to the Constitution in the Bill of Rights. Perhaps they really don’t know the first 10 amendments to the Constitution are the Bill of Rights.
The “independent conservative” who recently spewed in the Globe about defying the federal government’s laws should get acquainted with the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Sen. Church made that statement 38 years ago. He chaired a committee that was formed to develop legislation to rein in the CIA, FBI, NSA and other intelligence agencies, which had been operating outside the bounds of the law, including the Constitution.
