A local theater troupe will present an interactive dinner theater on today and Saturday.
The Joplin High School I.T.S. troupe is producing “The Great High School Whodunit,” a murder mystery centered around a school assembly.
The story deals with an assembly at Dudley High School meant to show gratitude to school patrons and namesake, the Dudleys. But when something goes wrong and a student ends up dead, the audience is charged with figuring it out.
Directed by Lauren Bynum and Max Mammele, the cast features Libby Andrew, Bynum, Kelly Campbell, Jessica Cashion, Cecil Cornish, Taylor Haddad, Sydney Holtsman, Mammele, Alex Mammele, Becca Mascher, Charity Musick, Tori Mitchell, Lainie Nicolas, Andrew Noel, Sarah Phillips, Madison Pollock, David Purser, Ethan Ritschel, Mollie Sanders and Magdalena Vargas. The troupe is under the supervision of Bonnie L. Schurman.
The show starts at 6:30 p.m. today and Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 600 E. 50th St. Seating begins at 6 p.m.
Dinner includes chicken cordon bleu, potatoes au gratin, green beans almondine, roll, salad, dessert and beverages.
