Ballet plans ‘Cinderella’ performances

PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Midwest Regional Ballet has scheduled performances for its latest offering, a production of “Cinderella.”

It will be staged at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine St. There will be a benefit performance for Children’s Miracle Network at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Joplin’s Memorial Hall, and shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at the Coleman Theatre in Miami, Okla.

Under the direction of Kaye Lewis, the classic story will be presented with current twists and nuances.

The production will feature Natalee Tubaugh, Patrick Chism, Cynthia Moss, Lewis, Taylor Mann, Jenna Garretson, Jordan Luton, Allison Black and Lyndsay Morgan.

During the CMN benefit show in Joplin, there will be a “Glass Slipper Tea Party” with members of the cast as well as CMN and local hospital staff.

Tickets for “Cinderella” are $10 for adults and $6 for seniors and children younger than 10.
