Joplin High School’s Theatre Department will present Michael Frayn’s “Noises Off: A Play in Three Acts” today and Saturday.

“Noises Off” centers around an acting troupe as it goes on tour for its production “Nothing On.” The troupe putting on the play mirrors a real-life relationship, from the honeymoon-like excitement of rehearsals to the exhaustion of the last few shows.

“Noises Off” is a hilarious show-within-a-show comedy demonstrating group dynamics and the effects of living together for weeks on end.

The play stars Lauren Bynum as Dotty, Clayton Stehm as Lloyd, Mollie Sanders as Poppy, Max Mammele as Frederick, Libby Andrew as Belinda, Kelly Campbell as Robin, Cecil Cornish as Tim, Emma Meek as Brooke, Andrew Noel as Garry, Brad White as Selsdon, and John Zippro as Norman.

Tickets are $4 for children and senior citizens, $5 for students, $6 for adults. Tickets are available at the door. Box office opens at 6:15 p.m. Theatre in the T. Frank Coulter Auditorium in the Joplin High School. Curtain time is at 7 p.m.
