• The Joplin Life Chain will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday along Seventh Street and Range Line Road. The one hour Life Chain is a time of prayer and peaceful witness against the violence of abortion. Joplin is joining numerous Life Chains across America and Canada. Interested people may participate. Details: 673-5309. • Keys to the Kingdom, a community prayer and worship service, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Memorial Hall. Guest speakers will be LeRoy Danzy, of Joplin, and formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jeremy and Christie Evans, of Joplin. Praise and worship will be led by Cody James. Admission is free. No child care will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring canned goods to help local shelters and food ministries. Details: Dennis Houk, 417-529-4432. • The 37th annual Round-Up will be celebrated on Sunday at Central Christian Center. The activities will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the church auditorium at 410 Virginia Ave. and will continue after the morning service to the church parking lot at Firth Street and Virginia Ave. for chili and an afternoon of family fun and games. Round-Up started in 1972 when church members set aside a Sunday to invite all their families and friends to a day filled with all kinds of activities that centered on getting people started back to attending church on a regular basis.
