• Homecoming Sunday will be observed at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Iron Gates Christian Church, 2310 Iron Gates Road.

• A benefit gospel concert will be staged at 4 p.m. Sunday at College Heights Christian Church Chapel, 4311 E. Newman Road.

The concert will feature Phil Mehrens, The Trombleys, Murray Hollis with the Q and Family Sound, Tammy Nelson, Faith, Boyd and Blaine Cornell and other special guests.

There will be a silent auction for a Jack E. Dawson painting.

A love offering will be taken. Proceeds will go to the Holly Wampler family.

• St. Peter’s Parish Council of Catholic Women will hold its monthly meeting at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the church basement at 812 S. Pearl Ave.

Mary Greenwood will give a demonstration along with some of her students in the Silver Sneakers exercise she teaches at the Olympic Fitness Center. People are to wear loose clothing if they want to exercise.

A short meeting will follow the demonstration.
