Will Carrie and Mr. Big tie the knot, or will she be left waiting in white at the altar?
Are Charlotte and Harry ready for a second child?
Can Miranda forgive Steve for straying?
Does Samantha finally find a man who is man enough to keep her faithful?
Oh, and most importantly, is the cosmopolitan martini still the cocktail of choice for New York City’s four favorite girlfriends?
These questions — and dozens of others — are bound to be answered Friday when the big-screen adaptation of the HBO series “Sex and the City” opens in theaters.
To commemorate the long-awaited premiere, thousands of “Sex”-crazed fans will flock with their friends to theaters and then out for a night on the town to recount the clever one-liners and sip on some of the girls’ signature drinks.
Jessica Ogle, a 22-year-old “Sex and the City” follower, said she plans to see the movie soon. Ogle said that the appeal of the characters is, to her, more about strong women than strong drinks.
“They all have strong characters,” she said. “They are successful, professional women who don’t have to depend on a man.”
Ogle said that the series turned movie offers up a little fantasy, too.
