Free screening slated at St. John’s
A free blood-pressure screening will be offered at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
The free screening will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday in the hospital lobby.
Support groups set at McCune-Brooks
CARTHAGE, Mo. — Three support-group meetings and free colorectal cancer screening kits are offered at McCune-Brooks Regional Hospital.

Free colorectal cancer screening kits will be available from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Pick up the card at the Outpatient Services Area just inside the main entrance. Local blood center seeks donations
The Community Blood Drive of the Ozarks has scheduled several local events.
Monday: Blood drive, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Columbus Community Bldg., 320 E. Maple, Columbus, Kan.
Tuesday: Blood drive, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., CertainTeed, 3401 Enterprise Ave., Joplin.
A blood drive will also be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Joplin Donor Center inside Northpark Mall, 101 N. Range Line.
