Department plans vaccination clinic
MIAMI, Okla. — The Ottawa County Health Department will conduct a drive-through seasonal influenza vaccination clinic from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the First Christian Church, 2424 N. Main St.
The clinic will offer vaccinations for those age 19 an older. Those younger than 19 must walk into the building for the vaccination and those younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Participants are asked to wear clothing that provides easy access to the upper arm and to leave pets at home. The clinic will not provide vaccinations for H1N1 flu.
There is no cost for the vaccination, but donations will be accepted.
