Center seeking blood donations
Blood donations will be accepted by the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks.
• Today: Hours will be from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Franklin Technology Center, 2020 Iowa Ave., Joplin.
• Friday: Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Southeast High School, 126 W. Highway 400, Cherokee, Kan.
Donations also are accepted at the Joplin Donor Center inside the main entrance to Northpark Mall, 101 N. Range Line Road. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
To be eligible to give, you must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health and present required identification.

A diabetes expo and a CPR class will be offered by Freeman Health System.

• Friday: Mobile Mammography, 2 to 6 p.m., Walgreens, Joplin, 20th and Main. Walk-ins welcome.
• Monday: Blood-pressure screening, 9:30 to 11 a.m., hospital lobby. Free.
• Wednesday: Mobile Mammography, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., East Newton High School, Granby, Mo. Walk-ins welcome.
