Freeman schedules support groups

Freeman Health Systems will offer support groups for strokes and heart disease.

St. John’s to offer screenings

Officials with St. John’s Regional Medical Center will offer mammographies and screenings.

Today: Mobile Mammography, 1 to 5 p.m., St. John’s Maude Norton Memorial Hospital, 220 N. Penn., Columbus, Kan. Walk-ins welcome.

Friday: Home Town Heroes, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Baxter Springs High School, Baxter Springs, Kan. Walk-ins welcome.

Saturday: Mobile Mammography, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Columbus 4-H Christmas Open House, 4-H Building, Columbus, Kan. Walk-ins OK.

Monday: Blood-pressure screening, 9:30 to 11 a.m., hospital lobby. Free.

Tuesday: Free blood glucose and blood pressure screenings, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Webb City Senior Center, 210 N. Pennsylvania, 417-625-2000.



McCune-Brooks sets support groups

Support groups for grief and Alzheimer’s disease have been scheduled at McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage.
