The Bulldogs (18-5) open state play on Tuesday night at the site of the District 11 winner, which will be determined Friday night.

Williams, a junior, and Degani, a freshman, tallied two goals apiece as the Bulldogs built a 4-0 halftime lead. They posted their third goals two minutes apart early in the second half.

Sydney Solberg and Taylor Beck scored one goal apiece in the second half, and Solberg assisted on four of the Bulldogs’ last five goals.

Carl Junction, according to its statistics, held a 17-0 advantage in shots on goal. Goalkeeper Emily Edmonson made nine saves for Carthage (13-11).
