Defending their Class 3 state title, the Maryville Spoofhounds defeated the Seneca Indians 50-28 in the Show-Me Bowl on Saturday at the Edward Jones Dome.
Maryville (15-0) is on a 30-game winning streak after finishing the past two seasons with undefeated records.
The Spoofhounds showed why.
Seneca (11-4) made it an 8-6 game after quarterback Payton Rawlins' 1-yard touchdown run with 2:58 left in the first quarter.
Maryville responded with 28 unanswered points to go up 36-6 after three quarters.
