Wildcat Glades nature center receives $50,000 grant

JOPLIN, Mo. — The Wildcat Glades Conservation & Audubon Center has received a $50,000 TogetherGreen Innovation Grant, which is being provided through an alliance between the National Audubon Society and Toyota.

Kerstin Landwer, development and volunteer coordinator for the nature center, said the money will be used to continue free programming through next spring.

Since 2008, the TogetherGreen Innovation Grants program has awarded more than $4.7 million to more than 160 environmental projects nationwide.
