Published January 03, 2008 12:57 am -  Two motorists hurt in traffic accidents on streets in JoplinA 31-year-old woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 4:34 p.m. Tuesday at 17th Street and Sergeant Avenue in Joplin, according to a Joplin police report.
Nena R. Hosp, 403 S. St. Charles Ave., was taken by ambulance to an unspecified local hospital, the report said. Hosp was driving an eastbound van that collided with a southbound pickup truck at the unmarked intersection, the report said. The driver of the truck was listed as Crystal D. Stephens, 23, 2110 S. Grand Ave. n A Kansas woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:40 p.m. Monday on Range Line Road at 18th Street in Joplin, according to a Joplin police report. Debra Murray, 52, of Scammon, was taken by ambulance to an unspecified local hospital, the report said. Murray was driving a northbound car that ran into the rear a vehicle driven by George T. Jackson, 74, of Galena, Kan., the report said. n A Stark City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 32 in Dent County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Kevin T. Moore, 49, was taken to a hospital in Salem, the patrol said. Moore’s westbound tractor-trailer ran off the road and struck several trees, the patrol said.
