— NEVADA, Mo. — The Vernon County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the Wednesday night shooting death of a 47-year-old Neosho man, who was found at an address in the Derrick area.
The sheriff’s department received the call at 8:19 p.m. Wednesday.
The body has been taken to a Springfield hospital, where an autopsy is being performed. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
