COLUMBUS, Kan. — Cherokee County Attorney John Bullard has charged a Diamond, Mo., husband and wife with felony drug counts resulting from a traffic stop.
Todd McClain, 34, and Kristine McClain, 29, both of 512 S. Main St., Diamond, are charged with methamphetamine manufacturing, meth possession, possession of meth ingredients, meth distribution, possession of drug paraphernalia and having no drug tax stamp. All the charges are felonies.
Kristine McClain also is charged with misdemeanor display of an improper vehicle tag and misdemeanor having no proof of liability insurance.
The pickup the couple was in was stopped by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department about 10:30 p.m. Monday. Deputies reportedly found meth and meth-making ingredients and materials in the truck.
