Published May 11, 2009 11:34 am - At the request of the Joplin/Jasper County Office of Emergency Management, the American Red Cross has set up a bulk distribution site at its office located at 410 S. Jackson in Joplin.  Meals Ready to Eat available at Joplin Red Cross At the request of the Joplin/Jasper County Office of Emergency Management, the American Red Cross has set up a bulk distribution site at its office located at 410 S. Jackson in Joplin.
Families affected by the storm can pick up Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) as well as clean-up kits. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pickup site is located in the parking lot at the back of the building. To help the victims of this and other local disasters, financial contributions can be mailed to: American Red Cross, 410 S. Jackson, Joplin, MO 64801. To volunteer, please contact the Joplin office at 417-624-4411.
