— Search and rescue teams are currently being dispatched in Picher, Okla.
Ottawa County Sheriff Terry Durborow said that there are an undetermined number of dead and injured following the tornado that struck the town on Saturday.
“It’s a bad deal. There are maybe 150 badly damaged homes on south side of town,” said Erick Johnson, Picher’s city attorney. “The highway patrol and emergency responders are on the scene trying to see what our infrastructure needs are.”
