A Loma Linda woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5 p.m. Monday on Eastwind Drive in Loma Linda, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Carmella J. Kelley, 60, was taken to Freeman Hospital West In Joplin, the patrol said.
Kelley was a passenger in a northbound car driven by Wayne J. Kelley, 54, of Loma Linda, that overturned on the gravel road, the patrol said.
n A Cape Fair woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 4:10 p.m. Monday on Highway 76, seven miles west of Cape Fair in Barry County, the state patrol said.
Arlie E. Duncan, 64, was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Cassville, the patrol said.
Duncan was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road, struck a highway sign and a tree, and overturned, the patrol said.
n Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Monday on Missouri Highway 39, one mile north of Shell Knob in Barry County, the state patrol said.
The driver, Terry D. Swofford, 31, of Monett, was taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, the patrol said. A passenger, Apollo L. Ayres, 18, of Aurora, was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Aurora, the patrol said.
The northbound vehicle ran off the road and became airborne before crashing to the ground, the patrol said.
n A Neosho woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6:50 p.m. Sunday on Business Highway 71, two miles south of Joplin, the state patrol said.
Tussiona L. Mikell, 43, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Mikell was driving a northbound vehicle and attempting to make a right turn into a parking lot when her vehicle struck a southbound vehicle driven by Michelle L. Leibrand, 32, of Neosho, the patrol said.
n Two Mount Vernon residents were injured in a motorcycle accident at 3:30 p.m. Sunday on Route M, seven miles east of Miller in Lawrence County, the state patrol said.
The driver, Randall L. Pendleton, 48, and his rider, Elizabeth W. Pendleton, 51, were taken to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, the patrol said.
The motorcycle left the road and struck a ditch, the patrol said.
n A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:16 p.m. Sunday on Main Street at Fifth Street in Joplin, according to the Joplin Police Department.
C.S. Gazaway, 19, was taken by ambulance to an unspecified local hospital, police said.
Gazaway was driving a northbound vehicle that was struck by a car driven by Gary R. Powers, 58, of Webb City, as Powers pulled from the curb along the street, police said.
