An Arkansas man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 3:40 a.m. Thursday on Highway 96 at Route BB in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Todd T. French, 27, of Rogers, Ark., was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
French was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road and rolled several times, the patrol said.
n A 45-year-old woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 10 in Delaware County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Kimberly Chewie, of Kansas, Okla., was taken to Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark., the patrol said.
Chewie was driving a southbound Chevrolet Blazer that ran off the right side of the road, regained the roadway and then ran off the right side a second time and rolled once, coming to rest on its wheels, the patrol said.
n Two Aurora residents sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday on Farm Road 2020, four miles south of Aurora in Barry County, according to the Missouri patrol.
The driver of a car involved, Jared S. Justus, 16, was taken by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. A passenger in the car, Brandon J. Smith, 16, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield.
The state patrol said the Justus eastbound car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound farm tractor driven by Jonathan E. Fritz, 25, of Crane.
