— COLUMBUS, Kan. — Cherokee County Attorney John Bullard has charged a Galena man with felony aggravated criminal sodomy.
The charge against Billie Ashlock Jr. alleges he engaged in sodomy with a child younger than 14. The incident allegedly took place Sunday, May 10.
Galena police investigated the case.
Ashlock on Friday remained in the Cherokee County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000.
