A man facing two outstanding warrants was arrested Thursday afternoon in a traffic stop, according to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department.
Ricky L. Ball, 29, 3817 N. Main St. in Joplin, was arrested near Fountain Road and Calliope Lane in Joplin, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Department.
A name search revealed he had two active warrants: one out of Jasper County on a probation violation on a child-molestation conviction, and one out of Newton County on charge of failure to appear in a burglary case. The Jasper county warrant carries a $50,000 bond and the Newton county warrant carries a $25,000 bond.
Additional charges are being sought in connection with the traffic stop, authorities said.
