A Republic man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:45 p.m. Monday on Missouri Highway 266, two miles west of Halltown in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Lendon K. White, 48, was taken by ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, the patrol said.
White was driving a westbound car that ran off the road on a curve and struck a fence, the patrol said.
n Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 4:25 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 60, a mile west of Neosho in Newton County, the state patrol said.
One of the drivers, Diana E. Wages, 41, of Neosho, and an infant passenger in her car, Zoey E. Clower, of Anderson, were taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, the patrol said.
Wages’ westbound car was stopped to make a left turn when it was struck from behind by a car driven by Jeanette Barrios, 26, of Noel, the patrol said.
