An Anderson woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:34 p.m. Thursday on Highway 66, near Duquesne in Jasper County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Anita A. Kohler, 51, was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, the state patrol said.
Kohler was driving a westbound vehicle that was struck in the rear by another westbound vehicle driven by James A. Covert, 47, of Webb City, the patrol said.
n Both drivers were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 3:45 p.m. Friday on Highway 60, four miles west of Monett in Barry County, the state patrol said.
James W. Blakeney, 23, of Purdy, and Gregory G. Johnson, 53, of Pierce City, were taken by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital, the patrol said.
Blakeney was driving a westbound car that ran into the rear of Johnson’s westbound pickup truck as Johnson was attempting to make a right turn, the patrol said.
n A Noel resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:25 p.m. Friday on Highway 90, three miles west of Jane in McDonald County, the state patrol said.
Amber N. Wolfe, 19, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Wolfe was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road on a curve and overturned, the patrol said.
n A Galena, Kan., man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:54 p.m. Wednesday on Byers Avenue at C Street, according to a Joplin Police Department report.
Eric S. West, 27, was taken by ambulance to an unspecified local hospital, the police report said.
West was driving a northbound vehicle that collided with an eastbound car driven by Ronda Cox, 45, of Webb City, the police report said.
