GRANBY, Mo. (AP) — A southwestern Missouri church has reopened a year after a tornado destroyed the 33-year-old building.
Neosho-Granby Seventh Day Adventist Church dedicated the new building Saturday.
The church’s pastor, Dwight Seek, says the May 10, 2008, tornado only left a heap of rubble with a few pews visible.
The congregation’s services were at Church of the Nazarene in Granby while construction efforts went on.
