A Joplin man was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 8:45 p.m. Monday on Jackpine Road, three miles north of Carthage, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
David E. Roets, 41, was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin.
A 2-year-old passenger, Alexeous R. Hall, of Carthage, was taken to McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage.
Roets was driving an eastbound vehicle when he drove off the right side of the road, over-corrected and traveled off the left side, overturning several times, the state patrol said.
n A Nixa man was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 44, half of a mile west of Mount Vernon, the state patrol said.
Victor H. Miller, 24, was transported to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Miller was driving a westbound vehicle that ran off the road and overturned.
