A Joplin man has been charged with one felony count of involuntary manslaughter after the vehicle he was driving crashed and killed a passenger on Monday.
Daniel R. Potter, 24, was charged Tuesday by the Jasper County Attorney’s office. His bond was set at $5,000.
The charges allege he was intoxicated when he crashed his vehicle on 14th Street near Gold Stream in Webb City. The vehicle overturned and ejected John W. Scofield, 25, of Baxter Springs, Kan.
