— Edward Gordon was sentenced today in Cherokee County, Kan., District Court to 10 years in prison for his part in the Jan. 30, 2007, shooting death of Jamey Richardson in Baxter Springs, Kan. He had been found guilty of second-degree murder in Richardson's death after pleading no contest to the charge as part of a plea agreement.
