— The Kansas Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board today selected Harrah's Entertainment to build a casino and hotel in Sumner County. The vote was 4 to 3.
The board had selected Penn National Gaming to build a Cherokee County casino, but Penn officials have said they may not go forward in Cherokee County if they did not also get the Sumner County contract.
