Several injured in traffic accidents on area roads

A Weir, Kan., resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday on 520th Avenue, less than a quarter-mile west of 190th Street, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.

Jake McIntyre, age not available, was taken by ambulance to Mount Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kan., authorities said.

McIntyre was a passenger in an eastbound car driven by Jason Donaldson, 19, of Pittsburg, that left the road and struck a row of trees before coming to rest in a ditch, authorities said.

n A Noel man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 12:30 p.m. Monday on Missouri Highway 59, less than two miles south of Noel in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

David J. Trammel, 56, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, the patrol said.

Trammel was driving a southbound car that ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.

n A Lamar teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 7:15 p.m. Monday on Southeast 75th Road, south of Golden City, in Barton County, the state patrol said.

Olivia C. Legrand, 17, was taken by ambulance to Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, the state patrol said.

Legrand was driving an eastbound car that ran off the road and struck a fence, the patrol said.

n Two Cassville residents were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:20 p.m. Sunday on Farm Road 2250, four miles north of Golden in Barry County, according to the state patrol.

The driver of the car, Bruce W. Sapp, 62, was taken to St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, the state patrol said. His passenger, Vickie P. Brown, 52, was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Berryville, Ark., the patrol said.

Their westbound car ran off the road and struck a tree, the patrol said.
