Published October 01, 2008 01:07 am -  Three charged after marijuana seizedPINEVILLE, Mo. — Three men are facing drug-trafficking charges in the wake of what the McDonald County Sheriff’s Department believes is the largest seizure ever of processed marijuana — about 300 pounds — in the county.
Chief Deputy Gregg Sweeten said an assistant manager at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Noel refused to accept delivery of a shipment of 13 boxes that arrived at the business Saturday morning without knowing what was in the boxes. “So they opened up a box, and when they did, they found the marijuana,” Sweeten said. He said store management called Noel’s deputy marshal, and he contacted agents of the Southwest Missouri Drug Task Force. The shipment was addressed to an employee of the store, Abraham Jasso, 22, of Noel, and agents immediately took him into custody. Sweeten said the agents learned from Jasso that others would be coming to pick up the shipment that day around noon, and when they did, they also were arrested. Jasso, Diego Martinez-Flores, 18, of Southwest City, and Martin Moreno, 19, of Goodman, were all charged with first-degree trafficking in drugs.
