A Monett woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11 a.m. Wednesday on Route B at Missouri Highway 37 in Purdy, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Brenda M. Watkins, 25, was taken by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital, the patrol said.

Watkins was driving a westbound van that ran into the rear of a westbound pickup truck driven by James R. Miller, 66, of Cassville, as Miller was stopped at the intersection, the patrol said. The van continued traveling after the collision and struck a house, the patrol said.
