PITTSBURG, Kan. — Bomb-sniffing dogs from the Kansas Highway Patrol found no traces of explosives at two buildings on the Pittsburg State University campus on Tuesday night, according to school officials.
Both Kelce Hall and Hughes Hall on the northwest corner of the campus were closed for most of the afternoon and evening Tuesday after Pittsburg police received a bomb threat against the building.
Ron Womble, public relations director for PSU, said the buildings were cleared at about 10 p.m. Tuesday night, and classes have resumed Wednesday.
