Employees and customers have been evacuated from the Arvest Bank at Seventh and Main streets following a fire that started on the roof.
The fire erupted about 9:35 a.m. while some repairs were being made to the roof. Wind was believed to have been a factor in the fire. Windows in the upper stories of the bank exploded from the intense heat.
Firemen, about 9:45 a.m., said te fire was under control.
