JOPLIN, Mo. —
A Project Homeless Connect event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Central Christian Center Fellowship Hall, 417 Main St.
The one-day event will offer access to area service providers for people and their family who are currently homeless.
Some of the services available at the event will be employment, medical services, mental health services, substance abuse information and treatment services, housing providers, legal aid, Social Security Administration and veterans benefits. All services are free of charge.
The event is cosponsored by the Homeless Coalition of Jasper and Newton Counties.
