Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 86 in the Barry County town of Wheaton, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Alexia A. Garren, 38, of Stella, driver of one of the vehicles, and her passenger, Jessica L. Garren, 27, of Greenfield, Tenn., were flown by medical helicopter to St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, the patrol said.

The patrol said a northbound car driven by Txooj N. Lee, 45, of Rocky Comfort, stopped to make a right turn, and it was struck in the rear by Garren’s northbound car. The impact pushed Lee’s car off the right side of the road, where it struck a pickup truck driven by Stanley M. Ford, 64, of Wheaton, the patrol said.

n A 33-year-old woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday on 140th Street, a quarter-mile north of 670th Avenue in Crawford County, Kan., according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of the pickup truck, Natacia Rowe, of Hepler, Kan., was taken by ambulance to Girard Medical Center, authorities said.

Rowe’s truck was southbound when it ran off the road into a ditch and then back onto the roadway before returning to the ditch and rolling onto its top, authorities said.
