FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. —
A construction worker from Joplin was killed Sunday at a work site in Fayetteville, Ark., when he came in contact with a power line while suspended about 25 feet above ground in the boom lift of a truck.
Jess Wilson, 44, was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, where he died from his injuries. A second worker reportedly was treated for injuries at the hospital and released.
The two men were installing siding at an apartment complex under construction on the south side of Fayetteville. It is the second fatal accident at the work site in recent weeks, according to authorities. Another man died in early May when the dirt walls of a pit that he was digging collapsed on him.
