Jefferson City —
The Missouri Lottery says a West Plains woman has won a $1 million prize.
Lottery officials announced Thursday that 54-year-old Carolyn Girdley won with a $20 scratchers ticket from a Country Mart in West Plains.
The administrative assistant has won other large lottery prizes. In 2008, she was part of a group of 17 who split a $10,000 Powerball jackpot. She and her husband also have won several $1,000 prizes.
Lottery officials say Girdley and her husband plan to pay bills and share the winnings with their three children.
