Author Barry Lyga to visit Joplin library

JOPLIN, Mo. — Bestselling author Barry Lyga will make a stop at the Joplin Public Library on Tuesday, July 16.  

Lyga is the author of several young-adult books including “The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl” as well as the New York Times best seller, “I Hunt Killers” and its sequel “Game.”

He will give two separate presentations in the library’s large meeting room. The first, at 3:30 p.m., will be tailored for teenagers and the second, at 6 p.m., will be tailored for adults, but all ages are welcome to both presentations.

Lyga also will sign copies of his books following both events. Changing Hands Book Shoppe will have select titles available for purchase at each presentation.
