JOPLIN, Mo. —
A Job Fair is set for Thursday to connect employers that have job openings with workers left jobless by the May 22 tornado.
Coordinate by the Workforce Investment Board and the Missouri Career Center, the job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel near Interstate 44 and Range Line Road.
Businesses with job openings are asked to send their contact information by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to allow for registration.
There is no charge for businesses to participate, but space is limited and businesses are asked to pre-register by noon Wednesday.
