Public forum set for long-range plan for Neosho schools

GOODMAN, Mo. — A public forum has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Neosho High School cafeteria to solicit ideas from residents for a long-range plan for the district.

Sapp Design Associates is doing the long-range plan. Representatives with the firm made a presentation to the Neosho Board of Education on Monday at Goodman Elementary School.

Other public forums will follow.

“We don’t have any answers,” said Eric McCune, the firm’s project manager. “We’re going to be asking people for information.”

The board is looking at options to address space concerns in the schools, including a possible bond issue to finance building projects.
